Delete your account

This page provides the public deletion route for Not a Latte accounts.

Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your account-linked reviews, submissions, and update requests will no longer be recoverable.

Option 1: Delete inside the app

This is the fastest route when you can still sign in:

  1. Open Not a Latte and sign in.
  2. Tap the menu button in the top-right of the map.
  3. Open My account.
  4. Scroll to Delete account.
  5. Read the warning, choose Delete, and confirm.

The app securely asks the Not a Latte account service to remove your account and associated data. You will be signed out when it finishes.

Option 2: Request deletion online

If you no longer have the app or cannot access your account, email us using the button below. Send the request from the email address connected to your Not a Latte account so we can verify ownership.

Use the subject “Delete my Not a Latte account”.

Request account deletion

We may ask for limited additional information to confirm that you control the account. Do not send us your password, Apple password, Google password, authentication codes, or private keys. We will complete verified requests as soon as reasonably practical and tell you when the deletion is complete.

What is deleted

  • Your Not a Latte authentication account and profile.
  • Your email address and display name held in the live account database.
  • Your reviews and their optional profile scores and prices.
  • Your account-linked café submissions and café update requests.
  • Stored social sign-in revocation tokens associated with your account.

Deleting reviews causes the relevant café rating summaries to be recalculated.

Apple and Google sign-in

Where a valid provider token is available, Not a Latte attempts to revoke its Apple or Google authorisation when the account is deleted. If automatic revocation is not possible, the app will identify the provider that you need to disconnect manually in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.

What may remain

Factual café information already accepted into the shared public directory may remain after the source submission record is deleted. It will no longer be linked to your account. Temporary copies may also remain in encrypted backups or security logs until they expire under the relevant provider’s normal retention cycle. We may retain limited information where required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, and will disclose that where applicable.
